This assembly includes a 3M 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator and two 3M 2091 P100 Particulate Filters. This assembly has been approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for use in environments that contain certain oil and non-oil based particles. The respirator is designed to provide protection in various applications such as welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL).
The 3M 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator is known for its exceptional comfort, softness, and lightweight design. It features easy-to-adjust head straps that allow for a customized fit to the user. The swept-back design of the cartridges helps improve balance and visibility during use.
When the included cartridges reach their capacity, they can be easily removed and replaced with new P100 Filter/Cartridges or other NIOSH approved 3M 2000 or 2200 Series Filters or 6000 Series Cartridges. This allows for flexibility and cost-effectiveness in maintaining the respirator. Additionally, the respirator can be disassembled, cleaned, and reused, further extending its lifespan.
The 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator has been tested and approved by NIOSH, a Federal government regulatory agency, for reducing exposure to certain airborne contaminants. It can be used in negative air purifying and positive pressure dual airline applications. The respirator comes with a replaceable P100 filter. It is compatible with various replacements such as 3M Cartridge 6000 Series, 3M Filters 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series, or 3M Dual Airline Systems, providing protection against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals.
